Dr. Nancy Ridder

Dr. Nancy Ridder joined the practice in 1995 after working in another local clinic for 15 years. She graduated top of her class in 1984 from Ontario Veterinary College. She initially practiced mixed animal medicine but soon specialized in companion animals. Her Interests lie in the internal medicine fields such as cardiology, ophthalmology etc. She enjoys the challenge of cytology. Nancy has always had an interest in complementary and alternative medicines. She has become certified as a veterinary acupuncturist allowing her to practice traditional Chinese medicine as well as conventional medicine. She is now working on becoming experienced in the field of canine rehabilitation.

She shares her life with her husband Ralph who farms – 4 children and several cats and dogs. All of the children are now out of the house having graduated from University or with careers of their own. She works part-time. Nancy enjoys walking – reading and quilting.
