Soft Tissue Surgery encompasses all the surgeries outside of orthopedic and spinal surgeries. These would include:
- Removal of skin cancers
- Surgery of the intestinal tract
- Surgery of the liver, pancreas and kidneys
- Surgery of the ear canals and nasal passages
- Plastic surgery—repair of wounds, and deformities
- Surgery of the eyelids
- Anal sac removals
- Some surgeries of the chest (lungs and heart)
