Dr. Nancy Ridder joined the practice in 1995 after working in another local clinic for 11 years. She graduated top of her class in 1984 from Ontario Veterinary College. She initially practiced mixed animal medicine but soon specialized in companion animals. Her Interests lie in the internal medicine fields such as cardiology, ophthalmology etc. She enjoys the challenge of cytology. Nancy has always had an interest in complementary and alternative medicines. She has become certified as a veterinary acupuncturist allowing her to practice traditional Chinese medicine as well as conventional medicine.
When she is not in the clinic, her passion is quilting. She shares her home with a chihuahua, Penny as well as two cats, Pickles and Cricket. You might find her in the barn tending to a small number of beef cattle. She enjoys visiting her children as well as 3 granddaughters.
